Shipping FAQ

  1. How much are the delivery charges?

We do not charge an additional shipping fee on all orders 

  1. How sure am I that the products delivered will be fresh?

All items delivered by us come with a manufacturing date & an expiry date. If you notice any damage of packaging, wrong product shipped in the order, at the time of delivery, you can request return through our e-commerce website.  Please refer to our ”Cancellation and Returns Policy “ for further details.

  1. What if I am not home at the time of order delivery?

Our logistics vendors, will make a total of 3 attempts to deliver at your given delivery address.  So if you miss your delivery on first attempt you can always grab it at second or third.

  1. If I am not home, can anyone else receive the order?

In case the person who placed the order is not available at the delivery address, any person available at the delivery address (residential or otherwise) can receive the Products. This will be considered as order delivered.

  1. Do you deliver to all cities?

We currently deliver within the states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujrat, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and to the cities of Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi and NCR. 

  1. What is the estimated shipping time?How will I know when the order is shipped?

With every order, you will receive an email containing the details of the order placed by you. Once we ship the item(s), you will receive another email containing the shipping details. Usually it takes about 3-4 business days for the products to be shipped. 

  1. Once the order is made, can the order be cancelled?

The order placed by the Customer /Guest can be cancelled only before the order is shipped Order . The amount will be refunded to you in the form of coupon code or store credit within 15  days.

For orders that have already been shipped, there will be no refunds made except for damage of packaging, and wrong product shipped.  . Please refer our ”Cancellation and Returns Policy” for further details.

  1. What about any hidden costs (sales tax, octroi etc.)?

GST  is charged on the order which you will have a chance to review in your Shopping Cart.  We do not charge any other addtional charges. 

  1. Who bears the postal charges for the goods returned?

 The return request has to be made within 3(three) days from the date of delivery. The Customer has to return the product to the MTR’s warehouse at their own cost. On receiving the product at Dave Masala Pvt. Ltd. office, the approval of the returns will be made by Dave Masala Pvt. Ltd.. Upon approval of the returns, a store credit or coupon code, whichever applicable, will be shared with the Account Holder /Guest.  The store credit or coupon code will include the shipping cost incurred by the Account Holder/Guest for return of shipping of the Dave Masala product. For more information, please refer our ”Cancellation and Returns Policy “ section.

  1. In case  what you have received differs from what you  have ordered.,  how can we return the Product?

We do have very rigorous checks in place during our dispatch process but at times a few hitches might go unnoticed. In case of wrong product shipped you can go on  e-commerce website and request to return the product. For more information, please refer our ”Cancellation and Returns Policy “ section.

  1. Can I cancel my order after placing it?

The order once placed cannot be cancelled after it has been shipped. In case of cancellations, the amount will be refunded to you in the form of coupon code or store credit within 7 to 10 business days.

Cancellation of Order

  1. Dave Masala shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for Products listed at an incorrect price, rebate or containing any other incorrect information or typographical errors. Dave Masala shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders, whether or not the order has been confirmed and User has been charged.
  2. Customer shall be entitled to cancel an order of any Product, only before the Order has been shipped. Cancellation of the order can be done logging on to Dave Masala website.
  3. If the customer has an account on e-commerce website then the Customer can request for cancellation through “My Account”.
  4. The Customer will be bound by the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy on (ecommerce website and shall not hold Dave Masala Private Limited (“Company”) liable for any loss that she/ he may incur due to cancellation and or return of the order.
  5. Returns after Dispatch of Products for Prepaid or COD mode of payment (Only in case of damage to packaging and wrong product shipped. No exchanges allowed)
  6. In case the Product is found having damage in packaging after delivery of the same and/or the wrong product is shipped, the User can request for return of the Product any time after delivery of the Product but not later than three (3) days from the date of delivery of the Product through e-commerce website. The Customer needs to follow the process defined below for return:
  7. Send an email to contactus@davemasala.com seeking for return of the Products under the 2 circumstances mentioned above or place a return request through “My Account” section if he is an Account Holder
  8. The Products shall have to be returned at the expense of the Customer / Guest to the address mentioned below:

iii.   In case of any quality concerns, we will refund the cost paid by the consumer to us for the specific product(s) and also reimburse the cost of courier charges incurred for returning the product to Dave Masala Store subject to production of proof.

  1. All approval of returns is subject to verification by the Company and the same are left to the sole discretion of the Company.

  3. In case, the Customer opts for return of the Product due to damage of packaging or wrong product shipped, Customer will have to ensure that the Product is returned in the condition as received. Packets once opened cannot be exchanged/returned. All free gifts, in original packing as delivered and unused condition, must be returned along with the Product in case of exchange/return of order of the Product with which the free gift(s) is/are given.
  4. In the event of cancellation/return of order for the reasons mentioned as per our Cancellation & Return policy, DAVE MASALA Pvt. Ltd. shall reverse the payment in the same mode the customer has paid.
  5. In case a consumer wants to cancel an order, he needs to do so by cancelling on the website (www.davemasala.com) or getting in touch with us by writing an email to contactus@davemasala.com. Partial return is not permissible. In case an email is sent to contactus@davemasala.com, DAVE MASALA will refund a consumer only after the consignment is received at the DAVE MASALA store (Address as mentioned above) within 10 working days. DAVE MASALA reserves its right to claim cost of to and fro Logistics charges from the customer if the total value of the consignment is more than Rs.3,000/-.
